Galaxy A series priced at 350 USD, imminent release… What are the chances of it being equipped with artificial intelligence?
Recently, Samsung Electronics appears to be diversifying its mid- to low-priced product lineup by introducing new products of the Galaxy A series, an entry-level smartphone. According to related industries on the 11th, Samsung Electronics India plans to unveil the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 at around 2:30 pm (local time) on this day. The two models are successors to the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 that were released last year.
Foreign media and information leakers (tipsters) are pouring out various predictions regarding the specifications of new products. The Galaxy A35 is expected to be released in four colors: Awesome Ice Blue, Lemon, Lilac, and Navy.
Specific specifications include a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD + and 120Hz refresh rate, IP67- rated water and dust resistance, Exynos 1380 chip, triple rear camera including a 50-megapixel main lens, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. A front camera and a 5000mAh battery are expected. The Galaxy A55 , the highest-spec product in the Galaxy A series , is likely to be the first mid- to low-priced smartphone to be equipped with 12GB of RAM . In this case , the RAM capacity will be 4GB larger than the 8GB standard model of the premium Galaxy S24.
The specific specifications of the Galaxy A Series
- 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD + and 120Hz refresh rate
- IP67- rated water and dust resistance
- Exynos 1480 chip, triple rear camera including 50 million pixel main lens and 32 million pixel camera A front camera and a 5000mAh battery are expected.
There are three colors: ice blue, lilac, and navy. The industry is paying attention to whether Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) will be installed in entry-level products. Samsung Electronics plans to introduce Galaxy AI features to major products launched last year. However, many analyzes say that it is still too early to install Galaxy AI in low-end products. Previously, Samsung Electronics introduced the Galaxy A25 series in early January.
Following this, the Galaxy A15, A35 , and A55 are awaiting release. It is known that these models have recently obtained radio wave certification from the National Radio Research Agency. Typically, products that have completed radio wave certification are released to the market within 2 to 3 months. Initially, the industry predicted that Samsung Electronics would release 3 to 4 types of mid- to low-priced phones in the first half of this year, but with the launch of the A15, A35 , and A55 series, the goal was virtually achieved ahead of time.
The scale has more than doubled compared to last year when two mid- to low-priced phones, including the Galaxy A24 and A34, were released. The two models are expected to be released first in parts of Asia, such as India, where demand for mid- to low-priced smartphones is high. In the case of domestic launch, the specific timing has not yet been determined. Considering the price of the previous product, this new product is also expected to be priced in the 350-450 USD range. The factory prices of its predecessors, the Galaxy A34 and A54 (based on Korea), are 350 usd and 450 USD, respectively.
